Is the US House of Representatives getting Ugli?

Recently Jason was talking to politicians about the closed scholarship program he went to in 1992 and handing out Grizelda prints (from Ugli Studios Presents vol 1) when all of a sudden Glenn “G.T.” Thompson (U.S. Representative for Pennsylvania’s 5th congressional district) wanted his picture taken with Jason and his art. He looks impressed. Now let’s get some political support for vol 2.

Special thanks to G.T. for taking a few minutes last friday afternoon to talk with Jason about the closed PGSA program for talented high school students. We certainly hope something positive can come from it.

In other news, Dani and Jason were seen at a local museum in Pennsylvania signing copies of Ugli Studios Presents vol 1. Get ready for a LOT of positive feedback.

Ichabod Jones gets Ugli

Jason Lenox has finished an all new pin-up to be featured in Viper Comics’ Ichabod Jones: Monster Hunter by Russell Nohelty and Renzo Podesta. Jason’s pin-up is colored by Dani Kaulakis and is sure to be the start of much more work to come for Viper.

Ichabod Jones follows the exploits of an insane and fundamentally deranged mental patient that escapes from a maximum security asylum to rid the world of monsters during the Apocalypse with the (usually unwelcome) help of the omniscient, impatient, and authoritative voice in his head.
